Ludhiana : NSS Wing of BCM College conducted Cleanliness and Plantation Drive to increase green cover and promote environment sustainability. Dr. Prem Kumar Secretary and Dr. Monika Dua Principal of the college initiated the drive by planting the saplings.
Dr. Prem Kumar emphasised on the relevance of collective responsibility in protecting nature. In order to revive, promote and celebrate ecological diversity, faculty and NSS Volunteers planted various medicinal saplings in the Herbal Garden and cleaned the campus. Principal Dr. Monika Dua appreciated the efforts of NSS Programme Officers Mrs. Manjit Kaur and Dr. Amita Khosla and said that this drive is a step towards building a sustainable and eco-friendly society.
